The Ombudsman
The FSS Ombudsman will handle any criticisms of the organisation, ensuring an independent investigation and fair resolution to any concerns.
As the competitive market for forensic science continues to develop, our responsibility to our customers and to the public comes under ever closer scrutiny. We are an organisation founded on integrity and a strong sense of fairness and are committed to demonstrating those principles to anyone who comes into contact with us and our work. The ombudsman service is a free one open to everyone.
Mike Loveland was appointed as the first FSS Ombudsman in September 2006 and has a background of forty years experience in operational forensic science.
